Saturday Workday

Today both sets of parents came and helped out along with Jeremy's sis Kelly and husband Rob of Madison Square. We had a thoroughly productive day. Looks like the living room should be ready to be primed and painted tomorrow. :-) All three bathroom are now useable (except for the fact that the toilets don't work in two of them... but they're clean and that's what matters. The fridge got moved to the garage. The front doors got a good solid cleaning. The back patio got mowed and shoveled, as did the deck. The front flowerbeds got pruned and wrangled. Like I said, thoroughly productive.

Living Room Progress

You can't see it in the picture, but that's a FULLY mudded ceiling (pretty much). It's also caulked all the way around the molding, which was a very involved job.

Thanks Jeremy's Dad and Rob :-)

Back Patio and Deck

If you could've seen what this looked like before. Let's just say you couldn't see the brick. It looked like a weed garden.

 First dinner at the house!

Thanks Laura's Dad (and Mom) :-)

Front Doors

Thanks Kelly :-)

Front Flower Beds

Thanks Laura's Mom :-)

No pictures of the cleaned bathrooms, but rest assured they exist. A final thank you to Jeremy for killing the wasps' nest in the back door. I got stung yesterday and again today. I'll spare you the pictures of my XL ankle.
